Scar Tissue Remediation was developed by Dr Ellan Head and is a somatic approach to healing scars and scar tissue. It works on both the physical and emotional level, acknowledging that there may be trauma held in the area of a physical scar.

It is an effective approach for those who experience physical and emotional effects from birth-related, trauma-related, or surgery-related pain in their bodies, especially the pelvis and pelvic floor.

It can be performed anywhere on the body 13 weeks post surgery/injury and where there aren't any mesh implants and can be especially useful for healing an episiotomy, genital scarring from circumcision or FGM, hysterectomy, prostate removal, genital confirmation surgery and most pelvic injuries or surgeries.
